I used to roll my eyes at "spiritual" people... You know the type. Always talking about "the universe" and "divine timing" and other stuff that sounded like wishful thinking to my logical, control-freak brain. But when you're facing your own mortality, logic only gets you so far. There comes a moment when you realize you can't think your way out of cancer. You can't control your way to healing. You can't force your body to cooperate just because you really, really want it to. That's when something deeper has to kick in. In this episode, I'm sharing how my cancer journey became the most spiritual experience of my life - and I'm not talking about sitting cross-legged chanting mantras (though no judgment if that's your thing). I'm talking about the raw, desperate moments when you find yourself talking to... something. Someone. A force bigger than yourself that you can't see but somehow know is there. The nights I bargained with God. The mornings I asked the universe for signs. The treatments where I surrendered control and let something else take the wheel. This isn't about religion or specific beliefs. This is about what happens when you're stripped down to your absolute core and discover there's still something holding you up. Something that gives you faith when hope runs out. Something that whispers "keep going" when your mind screams "give up." Call it God, call it the universe, call it your higher self. It doesn't matter what you call it. What matters is learning to listen.
